Smart Manufacturing. Driven by Agility, Defined by Quality.

SLS 3D Printing Service with High-Performance Windform Composites

Innovation takes shape in 48 hours

CRP Group is the creator of the Windform® family of engineered composite materials for Selective Laser Sintering – offering the widest range of carbon or glass fiber reinforced composites, TPU, and TPE for industrial 3D printing.

With +30 years of expertise in additive manufacturing, we develop lightweight, robust, and reliable components – ensuring lot-to-lot continuity and repeatable mechanical performance for prototypes, small and medium batches, limited runs, and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) of mission-critical components – delivered from our SLS facilities in Italy, North America, and the GCC countries.

KEY CAPABILITIES

Trusted by the Most Demanding Industries

For over three decades, Windform® SLS has been the preferred choice of elite motorsport teams, automotive manufacturers, and aerospace programs - where certified processes and consistent results are essential

Engineered for Extreme Conditions

Windform® composites deliver superior mechanical and dielectric properties, rigorously tested to withstand impacts, vibration, thermal cycling, fluid exposure, fire, and outgassing - materials engineered for the harshest operational environments

Lightweight Structural Performance

Windform® composites achieve significant weight reduction without compromising mechanical strength - delivering exceptional tensile performance at low density, ideal for applications demanding both structural integrity and efficiency

CRP Meccanica’s in-house CNC department performs precision post-processing on Windform® parts – machined interfaces, tight-tolerance features, and metal inserts for components requiring dimensional accuracy beyond SLS capabilities.

From Motorsport to Aerospace: Proven Reliability in the Most Critical Sectors

Our heritage of innovation and quality has earned the trust of leaders in the most demanding sectors – from motorsport to automotive, aerospace, and defense. CRP’s SLS additive manufacturing solutions are distinguished by their proven reliability and consistent excellence.

Every Windform® material is supported by extensive testing data: outgassing resistance, high-temperature stability, flame retardancy, and dielectric performance for applications requiring electrical insulation – with manufacturing certified to the most stringent industry standards.

Need a material that doesn’t exist yet? CRP Technology’s R&D team can develop entirely new Windform® formulations engineered around your specific mechanical, thermal, electrical, or environmental requirements – leveraging three decades of proprietary composite science to create the exact material your application demands.

Achieve Endless Quality with SLS in Windform® + Vapor Smoothing

CRP Technology has integrated vapor smoothing technology into the Windform® workflow, providing an industrial-grade solution that significantly improves the surface finish and durability of 3D-printed parts.

Two service levels are available: Direct Vapor Smoothing, which elevates surface quality to a near-injection-moulded finish, and Expert Manual Finishing + Vapor Smoothing, delivering the highest level of precision and surface uniformity. For painted applications, vapor smoothing often eliminates the need for additional coatings, resulting in cost and weight savings.

The process delivers smooth, water-resistant finishes even on undercuts and internal sections that are difficult to reach manually – without risking damage to fragile structures, while maintaining dimensional accuracy and rapid lead times.
