Home / CRP Group at Motor Valley Fest 2026: Racing, materials and talent in the spotlight

From May 28 to 31, 2026, Modena hosts the eighth edition of Motor Valley Fest - the international festival bringing together automotive excellence, iconic brands, universities, startups and talent in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. CRP Group will take part in two round table sessions, contributing its perspective on topics central to the future of the industry: innovation in motorsport and the challenge of building human capital.
The first contribution comes from Franco Cevolini, CEO and CTO of CRP Group, who will join the round table “Innovation, Safety & Materials”, within the conference session “The Future of Racing” (Complesso di San Paolo, Sala Roots, 2:30–4:30 PM).
The panel brings together leading figures from two- and four-wheel motorsport - constructors, technology specialists and racing engineering experts. The discussion explores the role of competition as an advanced technological laboratory: the connections between materials research, performance and safety in tomorrow's racing.
This is terrain where CRP Group brings more than fifty years of Motor Valley heritage and direct experience manufacturing components for some of the world's most demanding series.
In this context, CRP Group will bring a specific technical perspective to the table: the role of additive manufacturing and high-performance composite materials in meeting the increasingly demanding requirements for weight reduction, safety and sustainability set by the new regulations. A point of view built over more than fifty-five years at the highest levels of international motorsport competition.
“Motorsport has never been just competition: it is the place where technologies prove themselves before becoming industry. For over fifty-five years we have brought to the track materials and solutions born from research, and from experience with our customers. The 2026 regulations have raised the bar even further on weight, safety and sustainability, and it is precisely in this kind of challenge that the Group’s technologies and Windform materials perform at their best.” - Franco Cevolini, CEO and CTO, CRP Group
The second contribution is from Andrea Vezzani, CFO of CRP Group, who will be part of the round table on human capital and the new competencies required by the mobility industry (Motor Valley Accelerator, 9:00–10:30 AM).
The session brings together senior figures from the automotive and motorcycle industry, electronics, specialised talent consultancy and international academia, tackling the structural challenges of building tomorrow's talent: declining demographics, the STEM skills gap, and the need to develop hybrid profiles capable of combining technology, sustainability and leadership in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
“Human capital is the variable that determines whether a company can turn innovation into execution - or stalls halfway. At CRP we treat people as a long-term investment, not as a cost to be optimised. In a sector changing at the pace we see today, it is the only approach that makes sense.” - Andrea Vezzani, CFO, CRP Group
Motor Valley Fest 2026 gathers over 200 international speakers across 20 working sessions, confirming its position as one of the most significant platforms for the global automotive industry. Two sessions, two speakers, one direction: materials technology and talent development are not separate themes within CRP Group’s identity, but two inseparable dimensions of the same industrial project. The group’s presence at the festival’s conference panels reflects a commitment that extends beyond manufacturing: actively contributing to the conversation about the future of the sector - where advanced manufacturing and a strategic approach to people converge on the same growth trajectory.
