As it does every year, CRP USA will exhibit at the Annual Small Satellite Conference, held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, from August 23 to 26, 2026. The team will be at Booth 1500.
This 40th edition, themed "The Clouds Above the Clouds," marks four decades of collaboration within the small satellite community, a milestone CRP USA is proud to share in.
For the CRP USA team, SmallSat has earned its place on the calendar for a simple reason: it puts them in the same room as the engineers and program managers actually building the next generation of small satellites and uncrewed systems.
"What keeps bringing us back to SmallSat is who's in the room," says Vu Mai, Senior Director of Sales at CRP USA. "We get face time with engineers and program teams who are past the prototyping stage and need a partner that can actually produce flight hardware, and just as important, with teams who still think of 3D printing as a prototyping-only tool and haven't seen what Windform® can do in production. It's also a chance to spend real time with the customers we already work with."
Mai adds that the booth itself reflects that priority: instead of leading with material data sheets, the team is walking visitors through how Windform® has already solved real engineering problems - on satellite structures, optical systems, UAVs, and launch support hardware.
That's also what's on display. Rather than centering the booth on a single new product, the team will feature production parts across multiple Windform® materials, chosen to reflect the range of end-use, mission-critical components CRP USA manufactures for its aerospace and defense customers, backed by Windform's proven space flight heritage. Alongside the parts, visitors can learn about the company's AS9100D-certified, ITAR-registered North American operations, its additive manufacturing processes compliant with NASA-STD-6030 requirements for spaceflight systems, and its ability to support programs from prototype through full production.
The timing lines up with where the industry is headed: as satellite and UxV programs push for lighter systems and faster development cycles, more engineers are willing to specify additive manufacturing for flight hardware itself, not just early-stage prototypes.
The 2026 theme, "The Clouds Above the Clouds," reflects how far the small satellite community has come - from a handful of pioneers to a global ecosystem of commercial, government, and academic innovators now operating constellations of hundreds, even thousands, of satellites. This 40th edition of SmallSat looks at the technologies making that scale possible, from high-speed space networking to edge processing, and celebrates the community whose collaboration has driven the industry forward.
