Home / CRP Meccanica and CRP Technology: TULPS Article 28 Licences for Defence

CRP Meccanica and CRP Technology have been granted licences under Article 28 of the Italian Consolidated Law on Public Security (TULPS). Issued by the Prefecture of Modena on 15 October 2026, the licences cover specified categories of defence materiel and components.
For CRP Meccanica, the authorisation concerns materiel intended for the armament of the Armed Forces; for CRP Technology, it concerns materiel intended for their armament and/or equipment. Authorised activities include manufacture, assembly, collection, possession and sale, subject to the conditions and limitations set out in each licence.
The licences build on the two companies’ established manufacturing expertise and certified quality management systems as they develop their presence in the defence supply chain.
CRP Meccanica also holds NCAGE code AX940 and SAM.gov Unique Entity ID LXSQZJZFL843. Identifiers, certifications and licences serve distinct purposes, each contributing to the companies’ credentials for defence customers.
This development concerns both Italian companies within CRP Group, each within its authorised scope, and supports their growing relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and other Aerospace and Defence supply chain partners.
