CRP Group supports young talent through education, commitment and shared values

February 3, 2026

From motorsport to engineering and technical education, CRP Group stands beside emerging profiles by encouraging learning, responsibility and personal growth. Jacob Underhill’s journey is one example of a broader approach that connects education, real experience and long-term development.

At CRP Group, we believe that innovation is not built solely through technology, but above all through people - and through the values that guide their growth.

Education, dedication, responsibility and the willingness to learn are principles that have always been at the heart of CRP’s culture. For this reason, the Group has built its culture around initiatives that encourage younger generations to develop their skills, mindset and passion, both in technical and personal terms.

Within this broader vision, CRP Group chooses to stand beside young talents who embody these values through their daily commitment - whether in education, engineering or sport.

It is in this context that CRP Group supports Jacob Underhill, a promising young karting driver from the UK, as he enters a new and important phase of his motorsport journey.

A young driver driven by passion

Jacob discovered karting at just five years old, guided by a natural passion for motorsport and encouraged by his family.

Over the years, he has developed his skills through some of the UK’s most competitive junior championships, including Club100, a highly regarded “arrive-and-drive” series where performance is based entirely on driving ability, consistency and racecraft.

Today, Jacob is taking a significant step forward in his development by moving into Junior Rotax at national level, marking a new phase in his motorsport journey and reflecting his continuous commitment to learning and improvement.

Supporting young talent through shared values

Supporting Jacob fits naturally into CRP Group’s broader vision of growth and responsibility toward the next generation.

Our commitment is about standing beside young talents as they take their next steps forward, encouraging passion, discipline and the willingness to learn through real experiences.

This support goes beyond visibility: it reflects CRP’s belief in perseverance, education and long-term development — values that strongly resonate with both motorsport and advanced manufacturing, where progress is built through dedication, continuous improvement and teamwork.

By accompanying young talents along their journey, CRP Group aims to contribute to environments in which motivation, curiosity and ambition can turn into concrete skills for the future.

Supporting young talent: a long-term CRP commitment

Jacob’s journey reflects a wider approach shared across all CRP companies: investing in the next generation through education, opportunity and hands-on experience.

Over the years, this commitment has taken multiple forms.

University motorsport and engineering projects

  • CRP USA and UVic Formula Racing (University of Victoria, Canada)
A long-standing collaboration supporting students competing in Formula SAE, where advanced 3D printing in Windform composite materials helps transform academic knowledge into real engineering solutions.
  • CRP Technology and CRP Meccanica & MoRe Modena Racing (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy)
Technical partnerships that allow students to work closely with industrial technologies - from composite additive manufacturing to CNC machining - strengthening the connection between education and real-world production.

Education, training and orientation

CRP companies also support schools, higher technical institutes (ITS MAKER) through guided visits, educational initiatives (Club dell’Alternanza) and training programmes, as well as internships and work placement opportunities within advanced manufacturing environments.

Building the future, starting today

Whether on a karting track or in an engineering workshop, growth comes from commitment, learning and the courage to challenge limits.
By supporting young drivers like Jacob Underhill, alongside students and future engineers across international educational programmes, CRP Group continues to invest in what matters most: people, passion and potential.

Because tomorrow’s innovation starts with today’s talent.
