Engineering Expertise
CRP’s Design and Engineering Team services are supported by experienced professionals with solid backgrounds in mechanical design, system integration and complex product development across multiple industries.
Among them is Simone Boninsegni, Mechanical Engineer and Senior Engineering Lead, whose engineering approach has been shaped by over 20 years of hands-on experience in high-performance environments, from motorsport to industrial applications.
Coming from the racing world, he developed the ability to work under tight timelines, high technical constraints and continuous performance targets – conditions that require practical problem solving, rapid decision-making and the capability to define effective solutions starting from first principles.
This mindset has remained central throughout his work, from leading multidisciplinary teams to managing complex development programs. At Energica Motor Company, he guided the development of key projects including electric vehicle platforms and production models, bringing the Energica Experia to production in less than 18 months.
His experience also includes advanced project management in highly regulated environments, including the development of aerospace-related systems compliant with international and military standards.
Throughout his career, he has combined technical leadership with direct involvement in design activities, maintaining a strong focus on defining robust engineering solutions – even when starting from a blank sheet.
Through professionals like Simone Boninsegni, CRP’s Design and Engineering Team services are grounded in real-world experience, practical problem solving and a direct, hands-on approach to design and development – not theoretical models alone, but engineering developed and validated in real-world conditions.
