Stewart Davis, Director of Operations for CRP USA has been invited to present at the 2015 Additive Manufacturers User Group (AMUG) conference in Jacksonville, Florida April 19 – 23. The topic of “On-track application of Additive Manufacturing by Deltawing racing in the construction of an intake manifold utilizing Windform SP” will cover the application of Windform, a material family developed for motorsport, space, medical, automotive, aerospace and design that makes prototypes fully functional and end-use parts. CRP USA will also exhibit the latest solutions for Additive Manufacturing. Among these there will be the new Windform collection of face mask Mater Vidiam part of the project Carapace. A new concept of generative design that uses Additive Manufacturing with Windform materials.
The first electric motorcycle Energica Ego, developed using 3D Printing and Windform materials produced by Energica Motor Company will be making a guest appearance at the AMUG 2015. The Energica Ego utilizes extensive amounts of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing in the both the development and production of the exotic Italian Electric Motorcycle.
